Boudoir Vous Terms & Conditions

Client

I have received, read and understand Boudoir Vous price list, which has been confirmed for my boudoir shoot on payment of the deposit.

Your deposit payment confirms the date and time of your shoot therefor it is non refundable but might be transferable to another date but this is at the discretion of Lindsay Wakelin (Photographer). In order to secure the time and date you have requested please make payment of your deposit within 24hrs of receiving your deposit invoice.

I understand that none of my images will be shared anywhere online unless I give written consent. The consent form will be signed on or before the date of my shoot and will outline how my images will be shared. This will give Boudoir Vous permission for to use the images for media advertising, trade, promotional and any other lawful purposes such as promotion and marketing material.

To avoid disruption to the photographic coverage and to allow Boudoir Vous to fulfil its contracted duty; other photography by family/friends at this time is not permitted.

I understand Boudoir Vous owns the Copyright to all photographs taken during my shoot.

I will use these photographs as agreed and understand if we purchase digital copies we may copy and share them with other people.

I understand that if I choose to get prints independently of Boudoir Vous using the copies of digital images with a third party that they may not print as the same high quality in terms of ink and papers used as Boudoir Vous prints.

The digital files remain the property of the Boudoir Vous and will be kept on file a period of one year for re-orders.

All orders shall remain the property of the Boudoir Vous until full payment has been made. Orders cannot be taken unless payment is made in full.

I understand the online gallery sent to me following my shoot will show copies of small low resolution files. Any image ordered will be edited and sent as a high resolution file with no copyright marks.

Boudoir vous has no control over the environment in which the photographs are kept and that colour photographs, in common with all sensitised material and colour dyes, have limited life expectancy which is minimised when exposed to strong and prolonged sunlight, heat or fluorescent light sources. Photographs will last longer if displayed under better lighting conditions.

If you are paying by instalments but need to change the date of your shoot then the instalments are non refundable however the date might be able to be changed depending on availability of the make-up artist and Lindsay Wakelin (Photographer).

You will be sent details about the time of your shoot please do not arrive early or late. If you arrive early we may be with another client or out on another shoot and may not be at the studio to greet you. If you arrive late you risk losing some of your shoot time as all of our bookings are strictly limited to the times made at the time of booking.

Boudoir Vous (BV)

The digital files remain the property of Boudoir Vous and will be kept on file a period of one year.

Boudoir Vous shall carry out this assignment with due and professional diligence. Your privacy will be respected at all times.

Elements beyond the BV control include faulty material, equipment failure, loss of digital loss or damage to digital files and proofs during processing and developing either by BV or professional laboratories employed by BV, industrial disputes, civil disturbances, or weather conditions which may inhibit or prevent the BV completing in whole or in part this assignment. In this case the BV shall not be liable for its complete performance of the assignment. It is agreed that the liability of the BV shall be limited to be a refund of any money paid under this agreement which shall be in full & final satisfaction of any damage or loss suffered.

If you cancel your booking the rescheduled date & time depends on if the photographer and make-up artist is free and at BV discretion. Any cancellations made on the day of the booking will not be rescheduled without a fee unless under extreme circumstances. To rebook the client will be required to pay another deposit.
